A resin-bound floor, not a loose covering.
The stone is locked into a UV-stable resin and applied over a prepared screed, concrete slab or existing subfloor. What you get is a slip-resistant, jointless surface — not a rug, a mat or removable carpeting that has to be lifted and replaced every few years. The same build-up works as vertical cladding, as a thin overlay on existing floors, pavement or timber decking, and as a decorative topping for stairs.

Made for the UAE climate
External surfaces here face direct sun, high summer heat and coastal humidity. UV-stable binders hold colour through Gulf weather, and outdoor and alfresco areas are laid to drain rather than pool water at the ground. The surface stays cooler underfoot than dark tile and does not soften at peak temperature.

Which Stone Carpet system is right for my project?+

Can Stone Carpet be installed over existing tiles?+
Sometimes, provided the existing finish is stable and correctly prepared. Hollow, moving or damaged tiles and uncertain waterproofing must be assessed first.
Can I order colour samples before buying materials?+
Yes. Samples let you compare the natural aggregate in the actual daylight and against the surrounding architecture.
Does Glürex help calculate quantities?+
Yes. System product pages calculate aggregate and binder from the selected area. Larger or technically complex projects should be checked individually.
Does it hold up outdoors in UAE heat and sun?+
Yes. The binder is UV-stable and the surface is water-permeable, so outdoor terraces, driveways and pool surrounds drain rather than hold water. Colour is a natural stone aggregate, so it does not fade the way a pigmented coating does.
