Rule of thumb for the 10 mm mix: one 8 kg binder set for every four to five 25 kg sacks of aggregate.

Colour range
Twelve aggregate colours
Each colour is packed in single-colour sacks, so the mix stays the same from the first bag to the last. Natural stone varies slightly between batches — order the whole project at once where the colour has to match.

Before you order
Can I buy stone carpet components separately?
Yes. Every component is sold on its own, by the pack — extra aggregate, a binder set or a sealer. Starting from scratch, the system pages are quicker: enter the area and the calculator adds the whole set to the cart.
How much binder do I need per bag of stone?
In the standard 10 mm mix, roughly one 8 kg binder set for every four to five 25 kg sacks of aggregate. The pool system uses slightly more binder and the vertical system less stone; the calculators work it out for your area.
Which sealer do I need?
Often none: an open-pore terrace is left unsealed. PU Sealer Semi-Gloss does two jobs — as a pore filler it closes the surface so it holds water, which a pool bowl requires; as a topcoat it deepens the colour and eases cleaning. For a matte, natural stone look, use Acrylic Sealer Matte instead.
How long can the binder be stored?
Twelve months from manufacture, unopened, dry and out of the sun. Once parts A and B are mixed, the working time is 30–45 minutes — less in summer heat, so mix only what can be laid.
Is there a minimum order?
One pack of any component. Larger and repeat orders are priced through a trade account.
Do I need the forced-action mixer?
Yes, for anything beyond a small repair. A drill paddle cannot coat every stone evenly, and the dry spots it leaves are where a surface fails. The mixer can be rented for a single project.
